# Poelsnepstraat — first-floor art studio

The first floor is a working art and making studio, following the attached “nivo 1” plan and the user's corrections. The second-floor loft is unchanged.

## Materials and architecture

- Exposed warm red-brown brick walls.
- Honed grey concrete floor.
- Exposed concrete piers and transverse beams dividing the floor into three bays.
- Flat ceiling at **2.80 m** above finished floor.
- The original south-west stair footprint and five end-window positions are retained.
- The three clear bays are approximately 2.90, 2.88 and 3.30 m, separated by 0.37 and 0.30 m structural frames.
- Beam downstands are assumed at 300 mm; window sill and head heights are illustrative pending a first-floor elevation.

## Layout

A simple 2.85 m oak counter occupies the west middle bay, with a central stainless sink and no cooking appliances. The north-west sanitary room contains only a toilet and basin; there is no shower.

Opposite the counter, Margherita is visibly painting at an easel. The studio includes a paint trolley, brushes, open paint jars, handheld palette, drying canvases, displayed paintings, a large making table with small crimson studies, and a preparation table. Circulation remains open.

Margherita is a stylized adult 3D figure inspired by the supplied photographs: long blonde hair with darker roots, round glasses, dark shirt, grey shorts and simplified arm tattoos. She is not a photoreal portrait. The model includes the figure and working pose; final images refine the stylized character and textures.

## Files

- `model/studio.blend`: editable scene with eight named cameras and collections.
- `model/studio.glb`: portable model with both artwork textures included.
- `model/build_studio.py`: reproducible builder. Run in Blender 4.5+: `blender -b -P build_studio.py`. Set `STUDIO_RENDER=0` to skip camera rendering.
- `model/specification.json`: dimensions, choices and assumptions.
- `renders/`: six selected finished visualizations. The initial staircase view and close-up were removed from the gallery and public image packages.
- `reference-views/`: six selected direct Blender renders used as geometry references. The editable model retains all eight original cameras.
- `prompts/`: exact built-in image generation prompts.

The original personal photographs and plan screenshot are private working references and are excluded from the public gallery and downloadable packages. Only the two linked artwork images are used as packed model textures. The small tabletop works are illustrative interpretations of the supplied art photograph.

Final images use AI finishing over the actual Blender scene. Furniture, minor material details and the stylized figure can differ slightly; use the native model as the editable spatial record. Stair winders, structural depths and services are visualization assumptions, not construction details.

The artist's-corner image has been corrected so Margherita's anatomical right arm paints and her left arm holds the palette. The user selected version B for the worktable and complete-floor views, and a rebuilt-head B revision for the artist's corner, turned toward the painting so less of her face is visible. These are now the main finished images. Previous comparison versions are archived in the private working project. Character refinement is applied to the finished images; the editable model remains the spatial reference. The public gallery is ordered full loft, kitchen, art studio.
